To book a show at you can provide one of the following forms of demo:CD

Your demo tape or CD will not be returned to you. Acadia does not purchase music licensing from BMI/ASCAP/MAFIA/SESAC, musicians can only play their own or public domain material. Make sure all musicians playing with you know this.
Acadia is a performance pub with a stage.
If you are a new (to me) musician, please send me a note thru the CONTACT button (tab on left, links to your music help) and then check out the ONGOING SERIES (tab on left).
Most dates are ONGOING SERIES and are run out of house. Series organizers do not compare calendars - do not book SERIES shows closer than a month apart.
House provides the PA, and soundman.
There is no cover/door charge. musicians get 10% of BAR SALES while they play. If BAR SALES while playing exceed $750, musicians get 15%. Anything over $1500 is rounded up to and capped at $300.
Musicians and/or Soundman will also -pass the hat- for the performers. Each musician gets two beer tickets (if old enough - otherwise a couple cokes) and we provide food for touring acts.
Only send CDs if you are granting Acadia FREE LICENSE to play your music (see below).
We REQUIRE musicians to list bookings on www.hearitlocal.com/tc/ (FREE LISTING.) This requires a musician profile (http://hearitlocal.com/tc/as_join) and automatically updates acadiacafe.com.

We play your music (if appropriate) inside Acadia during normal business.
NO BOOKINGS ARE FINAL UNTIL CONFIRMED BY BOTH PARTIES IN WRITING (email works) AND YOU HAVE LISTED THE SHOW ON www.hearitlocal.com.
Please respect Acadias position on NO LICENSED MUSIC COVERS (give a copy of the set list including title and composer to the sound person before playing). |
